Fish, farm, and find friends in ana far away land as Immortal Life launches on 18 January.
Farming sims aren’t exactly unusual news for gamers, so if you’re looking to try something that isn’t island adventures, cute kitty cats, or Stardew light, then Immortal Life might be worth a look. A cute slice of Chinese mythology, a little farming, RPG elements, and some friendly locals await players when Immortal Life launches version 1.0 on January 18.
Anybody looking to take a different twist on island life will find themselves promptly deposited on a mystical land. Following the destruction of a Taoist community known as the Guiyun Sect, the few survivors strive to rebuild their lives from the ground up. That means getting out the tools. You’ll need to grow crops in the Mist Vallet, prepare meals, forge meaningful friendships with the survivors, and battle ancient creatures that aren’t so ready to share the local land. Mythology is a clear influence on the overall experience, with fantastic lands and exotic returns featuring. When you’re not out exploring the land or battling the more ferocious elements of eastern lore, you’ll be busy planting, fishing, painting, and cultivating relationships with the remaining villagers, all to recruit them and rebuild a once powerful Sect.
Available on PC, via Steam, the full launch marks a move out of Early Access and adds a ton of new content to the game. 2P Games and developer YiFang Studio, have added a bunch of reworked questlines, additional lore, an entirely overhauled battle system, a brand-new roommate system, and tons more for the full release.
