Gameloft and Disney have announced that The Remembering, a significant content-packed update, has descended into Disney Dreamlight Valley. Players will have new epic story quests in the Forgotten Lands to complete, a new Star Path to explore, and much more. Lastly, a “magical” surprise guest will appear, though the update’s official artwork provides more than a strong hint about who it is.
Developers created a new trailer to offer the game’s community a peek at all that’s in store with this new content expansion.
What’s inside the update?
The Forgetting has been the centerpiece of the game since its launch. It continues to spread Darkness throughout the Valley. However, Fairy Godmother, the official resident of the mysterious Pumpkin House, is there to help. Players will head into the Dreamscape to deduce exactly what The Forgetting is. “With the entire fate of Dreamlight Valley and recovered friendships in the balance, the stakes have never been higher,” developers wrote.
The new Wonder of Pixar Star Path celebrates all things Pixar. Beloved titles and upcoming movies take center stage. As players earn the unique Star Path currency, they can use it to “purchase” in-game cosmetics and items. Players can complete duties for Disney and Pixar characters to unlock unique hairstyles from the upcoming Elemental film. Decorative items from Turning Red are also available.
Players can also check out the Premium Shop to see the first-ever Dream Bundle. This special collection of items celebrates WALL-E and includes a style for him with matching animations, and clothing for the player avatar. Players will also receive a new Friendship Quest with WALL-E.
The celebration continues in the community, where players are invited to #LiveColorfully with a line of free PRIDE-themed t-shirts, available via promo code to be distributed through Disney Dreamlight Valley’s social channels.
