The Resident Evil 4 Remake Chainsaw Demo is Amazing

This game once changed the attitude of the series of games and will do it again.
Resident Evil 4 Remake Chainsaw Demo Impressions

Capcom, as expected, released a demo version of the Resident Evil 4 Remake called Chainsaw Demo. The Chainsaw demo included a specially adjusted game start that could be replayed an unlimited number of times. The demo is available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, and PC.

This is a small demo for 15 – 30 minutes and an infinite number of repetitions. And here you will find breathtaking graphics and an experience that will blow you away from what Resident Evil 4 was capable of in 2005. This game was one of the few that made it to the list of those games that I was waiting and watching and definitely wanted to buy in 2023.

Resident Evil 2 Remake was amazing and started a new era of gaming with the RE remasters, Resident Evil 3 Remake was less interesting and had a lot of eyeballs and story changes, but the playable demo of Resident Evil 4 Remake is the first game that has just been released. released. The beginning of the game made me say “wow” and just look around.

The demo takes place at the very beginning of Resident Evil 4, where Leon S. Kennedy is confronted by an angry mob of Plagas-infected villagers, including a bagged chainsaw-wielding bad guy who aims to saw Leon in half. And to say that I was impressed is an understatement.

And I’ll just leave a little statement: RE2 and RE3 are great games that a lot of people enjoy, but this game is going to be next level and as far as I can see it’s going to be a great game. Maybe even a contender for game of the year. As for the RE engine, in this game it looks great and shows what it is capable of, for all the time that I played on it, I did not have a single problem, and then they also unscrewed it, so it pleases the eye.

We gamers don’t often get games like this, and even though it’s a remake, we don’t get that kind of quality and emotion.

Here are some things that I would like to point out:

  • The intro video is amazing! Footage from the events in Raccoon City is moving and touching the living. After all, you remember all the horror that Leon experienced. They did not forget to show the government of the United States, according to the tradition of the series, in the best light.
  • Graphically, the game also looks incredible. Personally, I saw a significant increase in overall picture quality and art design from this demo compared to Resident Evil Village.
  • I noticed a significant improvement in sound quality. Much better than what was in all previous games in the series, although it was quite pleasant there, but in the same remakes there were not enough details, creaks and other things. The transcendental level of the atmosphere under this forcing ambient.
  • Encounters with enemies were very cool. They move chaotically and rapidly, constantly catching up with Leon. I liked how they often tend to drive into a corner, setting traps behind them along the way, this is an ingenious decision by the developers. And it feels like there are more of them than in the original, but this is only a deceptive impression, the original also had reinforcements.
  • The dismemberment is just incredible, I feel like a maniac writing this, but the hits leave a visually very tangible mark on opponents or even turn them into mincemeat.
  • Leon’s death animation and variety are impressive

A few more screenshots, but it’s better to try the game yourself and see from your side. Personally, I was even upset that this is only a 20-minute demo, but I wanted to play more … But the game is only released on March 24, and I know exactly what I will do on that day.
