Tokyo Revengers, the hit manga and anime adventure, just kicked off a turf war and a massive new collaboration in Ninjala.

Players of the bubble gum brawler from GungHo are getting yet another massive op culture crossover from the pages of Japanese manga. With Demon Slayer in the bag already, and several other high profile tie ins, Ninjala players can now enjoy causing trouble with a Tokyo Revengers update. Between now and 24 August, players logging into game will notice a few new additions to the usual competition. Now that their usual turf belongs to some high profile delinquents, players can expect to find a range of activities and items based on the hit time-traveling crime thriller shonen. Pick up cool outfits and accessories in the Shinobi Shop, test your luck with the Gumball Machine, and participate in challenges for gangster-themed goodies like:

  • Tokyo Revengers T-shirt
  • Limited-edition IPPON Decorations
  • Gum Bottles based on the Tokyo Manji Gang and Walhalla
  • Gum Utsusemi
  • Stickers
  • Emotes

A ton of outfits are on offer, with skins based on the following  characters available:

  • Takemichi Hanagaki
  • Ken Ryuguji
  • Keisuke Baji
  • Chifuyu Matsuno
  • Takashi Mitsuya
  • Hinata Tachibana
  • Emma Sano

This isn’t the end of the in game skins either. New exclusive Ninja-Gums based on the weapons from the show will arrive during this event, including:

  • Motor Gum (Manjiro)
  • Motor Gum (Ken)
  • IPPON Gum (Toman)
  • IPPON Gum (Walhalla)
  • Festival Gum (Takemichi)
  • Scrap Gum (Toman flag)
  • Scrap Gum (Walhalla flag)

While plenty of in game items will be available ins tore, players will definitely be able to score special outfits by winning Featured Battles between July 22 and August 24 to dress like Haruki Hayashida. One battle earns “Haruki Hayashida Hair,” and three wins in a row will reward players with an associated Haruki Hayashida outfit. The Tokyo Revengers Cup also opens up an opportunity to score a collab sticker, and maybe even a limited edition IPPON Decoration and Emote. If you fancy your chances, check out the competition on 20 August.

Let’s be honest, this probably won’t be the last of these stellar crossovers for a game where players chew bubble-gum, obtain ninja powers, and battle it out in an online cartoon brawl. It is, however, a chance for shonen fans to grab a bit of iconic merch for their character before things wrap up next month. Check out more about the collaboration at the official Ninjala website now.
