Travel Open Roads in Pursuit of a Family Mystery

Open Roads Team and Annapurna Interactive have announced that their nostalgic visual novel Open Roads is now available. From now through April 11th, players can pick up a copy of the game for $16.99 before it returns to its normal price of $19.99. It is available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.

Today’s launch trailer offers a peek at the stunning graphics and moving narrative that players can expect as a mother and daughter take to the road to discover long-lost family secrets, a possible hidden fortune, and “miles to go before they sleep.” Along the way, the two women who’ve long had a strained relationship take a journey into a past they’ll never forget.

One fine fall day, Tess Devine and her mother, Opal, discover a cache of old notes and letters carefully stashed away in the attic of their house. Hints of deep-rooted family secrets, decades-old burglaries, a lost treasure somewhere near the Canadian border… What they uncover suggests a much darker mystery, best left well enough alone.
