Persona Games Headed to Xbox and Windows PCs

Persona Series coming to Xbox Game Pass

During yesterday’s Microsoft & Bethesda Showcase, an announcement was made that is sure to twitterpate fans of the Persona series. In celebration of the 25th anniversary of the series, several of the games are making the jump to Xbox and Windows PCs via Xbox Game Pass. Persona 5 Royal, Persona 4 Golden, and Persona 3 Portable are all headed for release on October 21, 2022 when players can “don the mask of Joker and join the Phantom of Thieves of Hearts”.

Persona 5 Royal – Explore Tokyo, unlock new Personas – demons from within the dream-like dungeons that will fight for you – customize your personal Thieves Den, discover a newly added story arc, cutscenes, alternate endings, and more. Persona 5 Royal retains its signature visual style, while award-nominated composer Shoji Meguro also returns with an all-new soundtrack.

Persona 4 Golden – Inaba—a quiet town in rural Japan sets the scene for budding adolescents in Persona 4 Golden. A coming of age story that sets the protagonist and his friends on a journey kickstarted by a chain of serial murders. Explore meeting kindred spirits, feelings of belonging, and even confronting the darker sides of one’s self. Persona 4 Golden promises meaningful bonds and experiences shared together with friends.

Persona 3 Portable – If I say there’s an hour “hidden” between one day and the next… would you believe me? This unknown time is the “Dark Hour.” Unfamiliar stillness swallows the city, people turn into eerie coffins, and otherworldly monsters called Shadows swarm. One night, the protagonist is attacked by these Shadows. When all hope seems lost, the power of the heart, their Persona, is awakened.
