Bit Golem and Ultimate Games S.A. have announced Ultimate Fishing Simulator – Remastered and that it is coming in 2024. The overhauled game will be a free update for all players and will include a number of features that should significantly improve graphics and gameplay.
According to the Steam post, all in-game maps will be recreated completely, and game graphics will be updated to offer a more realistic look.
Significant features of the 2024 update
- Upgrade to the Unity HDRP 2022 LTS
- New water system
- New weather system
- All base game maps redesign
- New water physics
- Full VR rework
- UI improvements
- Controller improvements
- LWR 3.0 + randomizer for all fish in the game
- Gameplay mechanics improvements
- All DLC maps to be redesigned
The team also posted a look at the roadmap throughout 2025, though many of the significant “milestones” in the game’s development are marked “TBA.” However, some of the things players can look forward to include Bow & Trident DLC, the release of the overhauled game, and a full multiplayer rework in 2025.
