Crunchyroll Crams in Even More Video Games

Crunchyroll games - ponpu launch - a giant red eyed duck takes over the screen

Ponpu and Yuppie Psycho Are Available for Free in Crunchyroll Game Vault

Crunchyroll Premium subscribers already get more than just online anime. Now the Otaku centric streaming platform has announced more mobile games are available in its Game Vault. Available today in to Mega and Ultimate fan members, Ponpu and Yuppie Psycho are available to play. No in game gouging, no free to play monetization. Just two premium on the go adventures. Both games join an array of previously announced titles that include River City Girls, Behind the Frame, inbento, and more. In a similar fashion to the Netflix library, applicable members can unlock these fully featured offerings by downloading the Crunchyroll app on the App Store or Google Play store.

Players picking up the gauntlet in Yuppie Psycho will find they’ve landed in an utterly bizarre corporate job. Uncertain, unprepared, and massively unqualified, any salaryman willing to take on this task will need to survive a super-slick 2D action puzzler filled with grim horror survival themes. It’s certainly the oddest on the job training sim I’ve ever seen.

Ponpu is an entirely different sort of challenge. The stylish hand drawn title takes classic Bomberman mechanics and warps them into a fast-paced arena battler. With tons of interesting mechanics, a frantic combat system, bombs, and tons of boss battles, the single player experience is a frantic endeavour. Did we mention you are also trying to stop an evil duck god from destroying reality?

The two new additions come just ahead of Crunchyroll’s next big mobile anime tie in, One Punch Man: World. If you’ve got some time between the latest isekai then head over to the Crunchyroll game vault and make something explode.
