Voodolls Hexes Up a Release Date and a Demo

Voodolls Release

Tate Multimedia and SideRift have announced that their co-op tower defense title, Voodolls, is preparing to launch on April 13, 2023. Players interested in trying out the game can do so thanks to the arrival of an all-new PC demo on Steam. The demo features four-player online co-op or offline single-player action during the earliest phases of the game.

To stoke the excitement, developers posted a release date trailer during this week’s Steam Next Fest showcasing features and environments.

The game pits players against an unforgiving location that challenges them to fight for their freedom after their souls are trapped in hell. The Puppet Master turns their souls into “voodolls” and sends them into tower defense battles across a dozen stages. The game offers three difficulty experiences tailored to each player’s personal style. In addition, fans can check out endless mode and try to hold out as long as possible against wave after wave of enemies.

Features

  • Synergy between action, exploration and strategic Tower Defence mechanics, including an array of traps and defenses to hold back the hordes of hell.
  • Round planets – stylised and unique worlds each themed by the four seasons.
  • Team of four characters, each with unique abilities, weapons, and battle tactics.
  • Solo or online co-op up to four players – Defend the Puppet Master alongside three friends in full campaign co-op or tackle the task alone in solo play!
  • Story-based campaign – Peel back the layers of mystery to uncover the secrets of the puppet master & the dolls.
  • Three camera angles – Face your foes in immersive first-person mode or take a step back in third-person. Make tactical choices from above in the strategy camera mode. Three modes, and three different approaches in one game.
