SEGA has announced that Sonic Colors: Ultimate, a remaster of the beloved 2010 Wii hit, has been released on Steam. The PC-Steam version joins previously released editions on Switch, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Epic Games Store, and Luna. Players interested in purchasing the game can do so with a sweet 30% discount from now through February 13, 2023.
Nostalgic fans will be able to take on the frenetic racing action in either single-player or via split-screen co-op. Along the way, they’ll run into familiar and iconic characters, including Dr. Eggman, Wisps, and others. It’s up to Sonic to defeat dangerous enemies and overcome hurdles thrown his way.
The remastered version of the game provides upscaled visuals, additional features, a new game mode, and enhanced gameplay. Fans of the original should be thrilled by the latest version.
Steam players can purchase one of two packages: Standard and Digital Deluxe. The Standard Edition is currently $27.99 through February 13th, while the Digital Deluxe version is $31.49 through the same date. The latter edtion offers buyers the Ultimate Cosmetic Pack and the Music Pack as additional content.
