Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader is about to warp jump into full release. To prepare the fledgling Lord Captains for the many challenges that lie in Koronus Expanse, developer Owlcat Games shared the ground combat guide.
Unlike the Pathfinder games that also came from Owlcat Games, Rogue Trader embraced being exclusively turn-based. That, in turn, allowed the developers to introduce a complicated battle system. Full and partial covers, giving your allies extra movement points or turns, marking areas of the battlefield to provide advantage… All of that and more awaits you in Rogue Trader’s ground combat.
Check out the game’s Steam page to find out more. Meanwhile, Owlcats’ other project Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous recently got its fifth DLC.
“For Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader, we’ve built a sophisticated new combat system from the ground up. Let us walk you through the basics to prepare you for all the challenges the galaxy has in store.”
