Warhaven Season 2 Takes To The Hangar

Come see the wyverns and do battle in a new map as Warhaven Season 2 continues.

Nexon’s outrageous PvP arena brawler just added a brand-new map. The Season 2 campaign is already in full swing, kicking off after the release of the Bard and Claw, but players can finally try to capture The hangar. The new map is unlocked right now and is something of a change of scenery for fearless warriors. Players looking to best their enemies in this new battleground will find themselves in a storage facility. Swapping stone turrets and arena rafters for storage rooms and stacked boxes, this new environment serves as both an airbase for troop housing and deployment and as a safehouse for the storage of Divine Stones, magical artifacts reclaimed from battlefields around the world.

When the action kicks off, this industrial complex hosts two sets of teams and 1a variation on the 12 v 12 reclamation game mode. Opposing teams will need to secure their own stone and transport it to an evac point before anybody else. This is all while action packed medieval fantasy combat erupts in the open courtyard and constrained corridors of this map. To get a look at what to expect, check out the preview trailer above. The refreshed action also includes new events, and loot. An “Artic Hangar” event will run from January 10 to 24 January, while the “Jade Dragon Rising” event will run from 24 January to 7 February. Both events will feature rewards such as skins for your favorite soldiers, avatars, and profile cards and will run in parallel with Twitch Drops campaigns.

If you’ve not had a chance to jump into Warhaven and club your opponents then, this combat brawler takes players and drops them into a medieval fantasy PvP arena. Battling in teams of 12, the action combat and zealous lashings use of fantasy lore means that it manages to nail the landing better than some of the alternatives. You can find out more about Warhaven Season 2 over on the official website, and leap into Early Access over on steam.
