What Remains of Edith Finch Arrives for iOS Devices

One of gaming’s most acclaimed games is making its way to iOS devices. Starting today, What Remains of Edith Finch will be available from the Apple App Store and can be played on both iPhone and iPad. Launching for mobile devices brings the BAFTA 2017 Game of the Year to new audiences looking for a moving experience about the highs and lows of life. The game is a premium title and will be available for $4.99.

First launched in 2017, WRoEF is a playable collection of short stories, each with different art styles and gameplay mechanics centered around the cursed Finch family. You play as Edith Finch, the last living member of her family, as she explores the colossal Finch house and traces back her lineage. The game has won the BAFTA Award for Best Game in 2017 and won the Best Narrative category at both the 2018 Game Developers Choice Awards and The Game Awards 2017.

Overall What Remains of Edith Finch is a masterfully executed story and experience. If you are looking for an intriguing story to take an active part in and experience this is a great game to check out. I know I’ll be thinking about this game and going back to it to look closer at various aspects for a long time to come and is well worth anyone’s time.
