The Epic Games Store has been a work in progress since it debuted in late 2018. Over the course of the last year-plus, the EGS has been upgraded to include many of the features that most interest gamers, the latest of which is the addition of a wishlist. This is, according to the development team, the “first version of wishlists”.
Wishlisting a game is a simple process:
- log into an EGS account
- navigate to a game of interest
- look for the “heart” button on the lower right side of the games page
- simply click the heart and it’s added to the wishlist
Once a wishlist is created, users can track added games for information about pre-purchase options, links to the game page, etc. Other features include filtering and smart searching of games on the wishlist. Over time, developers plan to “add email notifications when your wishlisted titles are discounted, or change status”.
The development team is excited about the new addition to the Epic Games Store but is always interested in user feedback. You can check out their full thoughts by visiting the blog post on the EGS site.
