Zoria: Age of Shattering, a squad-based tactical RPG from Tiny Trinket Games, has been fully funded on Kickstarter and moved onto the stretch goals with over 20 hours yet to spare. The team has successfully raised over $35k for the development of the game, and if the game were to reach $40k in funding, the team will provide players with a character creator that will allow you to modify what Andar looks like.
Zoria: Age of Shattering is a classic tactical RPG with fluid turn-based combat, outpost, and follower management. Lead a team of four heroes with their unique skills and perks. Every team member contributes to battles undertaken in the fantasy world of Zoria. The expansive land is filled with magic, ancient history, tumultuous politics, and countless mysteries waiting to be solved by your party.
The game features a variety of classes, each with a tree of 16 skills. Out of those, you will be able to choose 9, giving you an opportunity to try out various builds and tactics. Abilities vary from single target to effect over time and area of effect. Some include summoning, spawning area-of-effect items on the battlefield, or using line-of-sight and blocking enemies’ paths. The protagonist has a special class and can either go the route of damage dealer, shield buffer, or healer, with a lot of flexibility in its skills.
Previously, the team has released a series of dev diaries to introduce players to some of the most important aspects of the game. Namely, religion, outpost management and combat.
