Team Ninja’s new dark take on the three kingdom genre now has a release date. The haunting new title will launch on 3 March 2023.
While Wo Long might not make it here in time for Halloween, players eager to get their hands on the upcoming title from the Nioh developer can circle a date and prepare to slay some demons. Publisher Koei Tecmo confirmed the news, alongside some extra details about the simultaneous worldwide launch.
While players across Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, PC will be able to pick up a standard version of the game on launch day, Xbox Game pass subscribers will also get to jump in on day one too. In addition to the base version of the game, a new Digital Deluxe edition of this fantasy will be simultaneously available. This extra option includes a Season Pass that features three DLC packs. The DLC is set to include new generals, new demons, new scenarios, new stages, new weapon types, and more. There’s also a digital soundtrack, digital artbook, and a special “Qinglon Armour” bonus on offer too. The team behind this title are going all in on pre purchase bonuses with a limited edition SteelBook edition of the game, a pre purchase armor bonus, and an additional digital pre purchase armor too.
While I’m not huge on pre purchase bonuses and paying up front before seeing a preview at least, Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty comes from the hands that crafted Nioh and has had a hand in the Fire Emblem Series. If you’re interested in a dark fantasy tale of a realm in chaos, while you fight for survival against merciless forces, then check out more over on the Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty release date on the official Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty website.
