A Nekomata rap, incredible combat, and a knowing nod to the opening of the godfather all come together in the latest Zenless Zone Zero Character showcase.

HoYoverse is ratcheting up the hype for its upcoming urban action adventure. Ahead of the next closed beta testing, the studio that brough us Genshin Impact and Honkai Star Rail has dropped a brand-new character showcase trailer. Focusing on the last member of the Cunning hares to be revealed, the Nekomata character showcase gives us a looks at the capabilities and personality behind the feline focused miscreant.

Time to Rap Things up

Arriving on social feeds and the official Zenless Zone Zero YouTube this morning, the character trailer is a follow up to the animated teaser from earlier this week. While the first of this video duet gave us an introduction to Nekomata’s origins, this time we see the cat in her current glory. The new video is a mix of narrative storytelling and in engine action that even breaks out into a raucous rap. Opening up on a seemingly Godfather inspired encounter, you’ll notice a fickle; confidence and the some very agile combat capabilities.

Who is This Kitty?

Nekomiya Mana, is the latest member of the Cunning Hares to be revealed. An S rank Agent and playable character in Zenless Zone Zero, she embodies her feline persona. Her personality definitely differs from Genshin’s own Kirara, but her aloof playful charm and fickle attention span don’t make her any less capable in combat. In action this agile character focuses on close quarters combat and slashing damage. Her two short blades and swift attack combos are at the core of her capabilities, coupling well with the rest of the Cunning hares.
