Developer HoYoverse rolled out a new video for anime action-adventure Genshin Impact. It is dedicated to the latest 4-star character joining the roster in the upcoming patch. Welcome Kirara, an adorable Inazuman yokai and a courier of Komaniya Express company. She is a Dendro support character that can provide her party with shields.
“Up hill and dale, by the light of the stars and moon, the soft patter of Kirara’s paws never ceases. The stunning scenery she passes and the smiles of her customers are what she truly treasures in her work. Of course, if there’s any trouble on the way, it’s best to just take care of it. After all, cats need to keep their claws sharp.”
Kirara is a Nekomata, a type of yokai from Inazuma. This young woman loves her job and human society, and there is no destination that she can’t deliver to. While she is a Sword-type character, in battle she brandishes her sharp claws against those who stand in the way of getting parcels to their recipients. She can also hop into a box for an increased movement and climbing speed!
Using her Elemental Skill, she casts a shield that absorbs damage for her party, and upon holding her Elemental Skill, she enters the “Urgent Neko Parcel” state to move and fight at a faster pace. When she uses her Elemental Burst, Kirara will throw down a Special Delivery Package that deals AoE Dendro damage and generates many Cat Grass Cardamoms that deal Dendro damage to opponents that come in contact with them.
Alongside with Fontaine reporter Charlotte, Kirara will be participating in the upcoming Version 3.7 flagship event. She will also enjoy the boosted drop rate in the first banner of 3.7 alongside Yae Miko and Yoimiya. Inazuma shines eternal with this one banner!
