HoYoverse just premiered the Voices of nature documentary as part of a Genshin Impact x Discovery Channel event.
Take to the nature trail today and explore the wonders of Teyvat as part of an ecological crossover event. Launched earlier today, and in conjunction with the Discovery Channel, Genshin Impact developers HoYoverse revealed the Teyvat Nature Discovery Tour event. This crossover is aimed at raising awareness around a variety of natural habitats that exist beyond the game world.
Highlighting the new campaign, the Otaku obsessed game studio and the Discovery Channel released an 8-minute mini documentary today. The Voices of Nature featurette takes a playful approach to various natural backdrops. Voices from the likes of Kit Harington, Ed Stafford, Kate Humble, Max Djenohan, and Lily Cole portray areas of our own world. The Ocean, Coral reef, Snowy Mountains, Forest, and Desert are all given voices to remind viewers how vital they are to life, and to the continuing saga in Teyvat. You can watch the video above.

Web Event
For those of you who aren’t able to make an in-person appearance, the Discover Traces, Explore Nature we event will allow you to support the cause and grab some in game goodies. Starting on 16 March, Primogems are on offer for participants. An exclusive Serenitea Pot Furnishing is also up for grabs if you can complete online challenges. While it’s easy to be somewhat cynical about a gaming organization ramping up huge server farms while professing about the planet’s future, any positive change is a good first step. We’ve already seen the environment take centre stage in Sumeru, so it’s not a huge surprise that this remains an important focus for HoYoverse. To find out more about what’s coming for alongside the Genshin Impact x Discovery Channel Collaboration, head over to the official HoYolab website now.
