Hitting game ahead of the much-hyped Netflix animated series of the same name, the newest add on to CD Projket Red’s latest title adds cute cats, new useable items, and a whole new wardrobe of wearables.
Anybody logging in today will be able to see the direct impact of the Cyberpunk: Edgerunners animation before it arrives on Netflix on 13 September. Players will find a whole host of items drawn straight from this Studio Trigger title, including the iconic jacket worn by protagonist David Martinez as well as a shotgun used by a character from the show.
This new set of threads ties into the brand new transmog system too. Hackers and hoodlums will now find a transmog system, or Wardrobe, accessible from any of V’s apartments and safehouses. This has enough space for 6 outfits that can be saved and swapped at your on discretion, while a cross save progression function means that each of these outfits will travel from desktop to on the go cloud play handheld using the power of the cloud.
If your mobile can’t quite connect to Xbox Cloud then you’ll still be able to make some impact on your experience, by downloading and playing Roach Race on iOS and Android. Galloping and Glitching across the screen, the iconic Witcher steed is a huge deal and the fastest riders will walk away with high score prizes from mobile play or by visiting any in game arcade too.
Most importantly in this update, Nibbles the cat is now available to pose in Photo Mode. I love me some cute cat pictures in a dystopian future cityscape.
