A Decade of Tenno and Everything Warframe from TennoCon 2023

TennoCon 2023 just wrapped last night and fans of Warframe got a look at a ton off new features and the upcoming adventure Soulframe.

A decade of Tenno means more than sore knees for Warframe fans. With yesterday’s TennoCon 2023 all wrapped up we now know that it foreshadows a brand-new era of adventure for fans of this massive online sci-fi series. Developers Digital Extremes hosted fans from across the globe in a day of entertainment, celebration, and presentations to prepare us for another year in Warframe. That includes new collection, upcoming story drops, mobile, and crossplay. We even got wind of a new game too.

“2023 is, and continues to be, a historic year for Warframe. Not only have we celebrated our 10th year Anniversary surrounded by our incredible community, we’ve set the stage for many more years of stories to tell,” stated Rebecca Ford, Creative Director on Warframe. “Community has always come first for Warframe, and we will continue to make the game that we want to play. Telling the next chapter in the Warframe story continues to be an honor – and we’re on track to deliver cross platform saves, a long requested (and promised) feature.”

The Future of Warframe

While Warframe has been something of a constant on the gaming scene for the last ten years, it’s future looks assured with the revelations at the recent TennoCon. While a slew of updates are planned and superb new Warframes are coming to the game, a mobile version of Warframe means a whole new way to save the galaxy.

Updates

Players burning through the lates Warframe content will get a new tale this year. Abyss of Dagath and Whispers in the Walls will drop during 2023. The Abyss adds the 54th Warframe to player’s arsenals. Like every new Warframe, they have their own history and lore, meaning new questions to answer and lore to dive deep int. Whispers in the Walls will hopefully solve some other long-standing mysteries about the origin of the wider game. Going even further back is the stunning new Metal Gear inspired Warframe: 1999 that will spin the franchise off in an entirely new direction. 2023 will also see the arrival of cross save functionality. players will be able to continue their game across any platform they want, when they want, and how they want with this useful feature, leveraging PC Switch, PlayStation, and Xbox platforms.

Mobile

A new platform is coming to Warframe and its probably going to revolutionize the way you play. Warframe is coming to mobile. With a slightly more excited reception than certain dungeon crawler conversions, the team at Digital Extremes confirmed that players with a small screen can pocket epic loot and experience the universe on mobile. As far as we can see from the details announced, it’s the same game, the same features, and the same action combat controls. Pre orders are already open for iOS right now. Right Now in Warframe

17 million players are waiting to join you, and players already in Warframe can celebrate 10 years of Warframe right now.
