Arktoberfest is coming to MMOARPG Lost Ark, so grab a glass and try not to spill anything on the keyboard!
Amazon Games’ fantasy MMOARPG Lost Ark is about to enter October with a brand new festival full of fun, celebrations, and fermented delight. Arktoberfest, a tribute to the much loved Bavarian festival is set to begin on 17 September in game. Running right up until 3 October, this newly announced event will include a ton of fun events, food, drink, and friendship while the summer season draws to a close.
Preparations
Getting ready to party begins at Gesbroy Island. This is the home of fine foods and crafted beers, thanks to the Umar establishment. Players can head over to the bar and maybe take some time to complete the island’s main questlines. As a reward, you’ll get a Lager Doll Mask, Ale Doll Mask and Stout Doll Mask. These toys turn adventurers into a fine stout glass. I’m not sure why, but cheers Amazon.
You’ll want to keep an eye out for a range of co-op quests and other tasks on the island homestead of brewed battles. The co-op quests can unlock access to a range of rewards, from a new title to a stellar Gesbroy Island Soul drop, if you tick off Una’s Task Reputation completion of Gesbroy. Look out for the Great Beer Snack, An Even Bette Beer Snack, and The Beer Snack to End All Beer Snacks quests to get started on this.
Fever Time and Twitch Drops
Players raising a glass aren’t likely to worry about weekend hangovers when they bot up Lost Ark this weekend. Amazon has announced that throughout the weekends of Arktoberfest (based on server-time for 24hrs on Saturday and Sunday), the Fever-time button will be available. Use it once a day to claim the following unique food to help in felling whatever gets in your way.
• Festival Sausage: Temporarily increases Strength, Dexterity, and Intelligence +3000, Combat Resource Natural Recovery +24%, and Attack Speed +2%.
• Festival Pretzel: Temporarily increases Strength, Dexterity, and Intelligence +6000, and Crit Rate +1%.
• Festival Gingerbread: Temporarily increases Strength, Dexterity, and Intelligence +3000, HP +4500, and Move Speed +3%.
If you’re done playing and looking to relax into this festival then Twitch creators who are part of the Lost Ark Creator Program will have access to turn on drops, giving viewers access to claim the Lager, Indian Pale Ale, or Stout Beer-head cosmetic. Yep, beer with quite the head.
