Abyss of Dagath is a Chilling New Update for Warframe

Abyss of Dagath

Digital Extremes has just unveiled the upcoming Abyss of Dagath update coming to Warframe.

The team behind the hugely successful mix of sci-fi space ninjas and epic online adventure just revealed a spooky new update coming to Tenno soon. As part of the most recent developer livestream, leads from the Warframe team delved into a suite of new content coming to the online title.

The upcoming content drop includes an appearance by the legendary headless horsewoman, Dagath. The 54th Warframe is a spectral presence in among the other frames. Wielding Dorrclave, a deadly sword/whip, this new face can conjure rotating spectral sickles. She can shoot forth cursed energy from her faceless head, guard against spectral realm-based damage, and summon the Rakhali’s Cavalry to bring forth five phantasmal steeds that slam into enemies for massive damage.

Other Changes

The new Warframe isn’t all that’s coming in this drop. Expect a bunch of changes to the game that should improve the overall quality of life. This means a bunch of bug fixes, and the much-anticipated Hydroid Warframe’s rework. Headlining this is a new ability, Plunder. This replaces the Undertow ability with a fresh one. Also expect to see a new passive, status effect triggers, removal of non-synergistic gameplay tuning, and overall changes to his base kit. Tenno will also notice that that your companion will no longer die after Abyss of Dagath drops. Instead, they will get knocked out when health reaches zero. Alongside a bunch of other changes, this should effectively increase overall survivability of your companion by approximately 50%.

Of course, this isn’t all. Players can prepare for the Nights of Naberus. This returning event brings back the spooky season with dozens of thematic Bat cosmetics, masks, armors, skins, a new Naberus Lotus skin, and more.

There’s even more to the Devstream, from community charity events to a cool Soulframe soundtrack drop. Check out everything that happened on the Warframe website.
