Gameloft has announced that Asphalt Legends Unite will arrive later this year and combine the game’s PC, console, and mobile versions. The keenly anticipated expansion to Asphalt 9: Legends is currently available via the App Store, Google Play, Microsoft Store, Steam, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch. However, players have only been able to race others on the same platform. After Unite launches in July, players will finally get to experience true cross-platform racing against all players.
The expansion also brings many other features to all platforms, including new co-op capabilities, an upgraded graphic engine, a modernized art direction, a reimagined garage, and a redesigned user interface. The team is promising even more features, which will be detailed over the coming months. These include social features and additional customization options.
PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 players will finally get in on the action when the expansion launches. Its launch will mark the first time the series has been available on Sony’s consoles. PlayStation and Switch players will also be able to check out a physical edition of the game at the expansion’s launch.

Today, we take the first step towards a new era for the Asphalt series, and we will soon offer players a glimpse at its future via the release of a roadmap.
