Don’t Nod and Focus Entertainment have shared a new trailer for the upcoming action RPG Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden. The latest video is dedicated to combat. New Eden is plagued with supernatural creatures and malicious spirits, and it is your Banisher duty to eliminate them. While under a minute long, the trailer lets you see what this duty entails.
The events of the game take place in 1695, sprinkled heavily with supernatural juice. You play as a couple of Banishers, Antea Duarte and Red Mac Raith, experienced spirit hunters, sent to New Eden to lift a mysterious curse and solve haunting cases. Following a disastrous last mission, Antea is fatally wounded, becoming one of the spirits she loathes. In the haunted wilds of North America, the couple desperately searches for a way to liberate Antea from her new plight.
The video shows the difference when it comes to Antea’s and Red’s approaches to combat. Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden will be launching on February 13, 2024. The game will be available on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. With Antea being a ghost, will you honor your Banisher oath or sacrifice the living in a desperate bid to bring your beloved back?
