Build An Adventure Block by Block In Lego Bricktales

The developer behind the Bridge Constructer Series is about to get the building blocks out with the news that Clockstone is working on Lego Bricktales.

Clockstone, Thunderful, and Lego just dropped the news that fans of the classic plastic play series will be able to construct an adventure like never before when Lego Bricktales launches. Still in the works, and not set to come out util its ready, ego Bricktales is a winding tale where players cross a diverse range of intricate and colourful diorama biomes all fully built from Lego bricks.

Along the way, 5 distinct biomes await. Each houses its own mysteries, rewards, and narrative. As this tale unfolds, there are Lego minifigures who need your help, as well as the opportunity to unlock new skills for your good deeds. In each biome you will uncover a series of construction spots and a bucketload of bricks to work with., It will be up to individual gamers to build masters to pick their way through the available pieces and find a build that works for every possible situation. That might be constructing a bridge or a glorious piece of throne room furniture, who knows? The range of puzzles is huge, and developer Clockstone has promised everything from purely aesthetic creations, such as market stands and music boxes, up to functional physics-based puzzles like building cranes and gyrocopters.

Lego Bricktales seems unlike the more common Lego Star Wars, Marvel, or DC series and the excitement for the change seems palpable:

“After more than two years, it feels incredible to finally announce what we have been working on behind closed doors. We’re honored to have this opportunity to collaborate with the largest toy brand worldwide,” said Dieter Schoeller, Vice-President of Publishing at Thunderful. “With Lego Bricktales, we’ve made it our mission to tap into what it is that makes Lego play so special. Our intuitive brick-by-brick building mechanic allows players to engage with Lego bricks in a video game the same way the toys have been inspiring people’s imagination and creativity for decades.”
