Naughty nasties are out to ruin the holidays as Christmas cheer comes to Dying light 2.
Forget worrying about the grinch, there are plenty of other naughty miscreants coming to the town of Villedor. Techland’s apocalyptic zombie survival shooter is about to brim full of festive cheer, before being split open by a rusty axe. A new update and in gam celebration kicks off the new Gifts from Above Event, which includes festive enemies, a tree to decorate, Santa’s deadly air drops, and new wintry weapons!
As of today, players can jump into this forsaken place and inspect the latest weapons at their disposal. The new Nocturnal Weapons are a rare sight, but these cool new options come with special affixes (triggered during the night) and cool, fluorescent appearances. You’ll catch a glimpse of them in the trailer above, as well as a few of the brand-new enemies. A new toxic one, incinerating biter, spitting virals, and a wave of gas tank encumbered infected are going to attempt to join the festivities. If you manage to fend off some of these new arrivals and clear the local Bazaar, then you might even be able to join the locals and decorate the Christmas tree.
