Darkest Dungeon – The Color of Madness DLC Comes to Consoles in October

The Color of Madness DLC had been out for the PC version of the Darkest Dungeon for a while now. Now, Red Hook Studios has announced that the time has come for the console players to face against the new threat.

Some hateful shard of alien origin has streaked through the night sky, crashing into the old Miller’s farm on the outskirts of the Hamlet! Those unfortunate enough to witness the Comet’s arrival have been blinded by what they can only describe as a shifting, ephemeral hue of damnably abrasive intensity. There has been no word from the farm in a fortnight, save for the unearthly groaning that echoes from the ruin of the mill…

The owners of Nintendo Switch and Xbox One will get a chance to delve into the depths of the darkest, most deadly dungeons on October 11. The PS4 and Vita players will have to be patient and wait a wee bit longer while the DLC clears the certification. The developers promise that those versions are “close behind” and they will launch “as soon as possible”.

The iPad version of the DLC also arrives on October 11.

Along with the release of the The Color of Madness, The Musketeer DLC will be released for FREE to the above platforms as well as the large game balance patch that has been live for the PC version of the game since June.
