Convergence: A League of Legends Story Now Has a Release Date

Convergence: A League of Legends Story will explode onto PC and console platforms in May 2023.

In a move that might make me believe Riot Forge and Stallion Games are reading our news feed, the minds behind the latest League of Legends spin off have announced that Convergence will come to life on 23 May 2023. Players who have just wrapped up the recent story teaser can now look forward to taking centre stage when this platforming experience leaps onto Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam, GOG, and the Epic Games Store.

If you haven’t already heard of this follow up to The Mageseeker, then you’re in for an interesting end of the month. Players picking up Convergence will be able to bend their way through time as Ekko. This young inventor and League of Legends champion will venture into the world of Zaun as this fan favorite discovers that danger lurks down every back alley and playing with time has its own consequences.

At its core, this is a 2D action platformer that compliments the existing lineup of MOBAs, deck builders, rhythm games, and ARPGs in the Riot library. While I love a bit of Hextech Mayhem and Legends of Runeterra, I can’t wait to try out Ekko’s abilities in a new light.
