Darksiders 3, the furious hack and slash from THQ Nordic, is about to bring hell to the Nintendo Switch.
After something of a wait, the third in the Darksiders franchise is due to bring Fury from the big screen onto Nintendo’s own handheld hybrid later this year. THQ Nordic has just announced that this hack and slash will cut a swathe of destruction on the Nintendo Switch come 20 September. Players will be able to pick up this title in both digital and retail stores including the base game, as well as the Keepers of the Void and The Crucible DLC, all of which will come in at an SRP of EUR 39.99 | USD 39.99 | £ 34.99.
Fury And Destruction
For those of you that have already conquered the Darksiders II Deathinitive Edition back in 2019, the latest switch outing for the series finds players able to take on the role of FURY in her quest to hunt down and dispose of the Seven Deadly Sins. Originally launching a crusade of destruction on PC back in 2018, this ARPG sends Fury on a mission down from the heights of heaven through the depths of hell to restore the balance between good and evil and prove that she is the fiercest of the Four Horsemen. It technically takes place before the first Darksiders title and takes place on a war-torn, post-apocalyptic Earth. As Fury navigates this realm, players must battling other-worldly creatures, unlocking puzzles, and gradually increasing Fury’s power. While Darksiders 3 did not garner more than a mixed reception on launch, this version will likely include the subsequent patches, performance updates, and classic mode that were all added post-launch.
