The DC Universe Online team has revealed the next episode coming to the super-hero themed MMORPG. Called “Wonderverse”, the episode is on the scheduled to hit live service in August.
As the name implies, Wonder Woman will be the central figure in “a broken multiverse”. Greek Gods and all the New Gods will be working to collect Source Wall fragments to “reclaim their power”. The best part for players is that it is a level-agnostic content expansion which means that all players can take part in the new experience right from the get-go.
Other features of DCUO Wonderverse include:
- The episode will feature new and returning adversaries, from the Greek Gods (including Zeus, Hera, and Poseidon) to the New Gods (including Grail, Darkseid, and Orion) and beyond.
- The episode will also feature Wonder Women from five different universes.
- The storyline will include adventures set in familiar and remote locales, including a massive open-world, universe-merging Themyscira.
- The episode will launch new player rewards, including new gear, styles, artifacts, base items, and feats.
Wonderverse will launch in August for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
