The developers of MMOFPS Destiny 2 participated in Xbox Games Showcase to announce that the game will be reaching new fans by joining Xbox Game Pass. If you are one of the more than 10 million Game Pass subscribers, you’ll get access to all current expansions starting this September. And soon the world of the game will get even bigger with a new expansion – Destiny 2: Beyond Light – coming to November 10. The expansion will add new gear, weapons, activities, a new location, new subclass Stasis, new raid Deep Stone Crypt and more.
Destiny 2: Beyond Light is available for pre-purchase in a variety of editions: Standard Edition, Standard Edition + Season Pass, Deluxe Edition & Collector’s Edition.
Pre-ordering any edition will award players with Exotic Rimed Ghost Shell and Legendary Emblem. You can find the full chart of content that will be granted with the purchase of any edition on the official site.
Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers will have the ability to play Destiny 2 whenever and wherever they want on their phone or tablet, from the cloud. So if someone’s using the TV and you want to run your daily challenges or nab some Exotics from Xur, you’ll be able do so to thanks to cloud gaming, powered by Project xCloud.
Additionally, the team from Bungie has revealed that the game will be optimized for Xbox Series X, running in 4K at 60 FPS.
