Developer Blizzard Entertainment shared some statistics for aRPG Diablo 4, outlining the year in numbers. There were only a few categories that got attention, hopefully the team decides to share some more insights later down the line.
Here’s what we learned from the infographic:
- The heroes of Sanctuary have slaughtered over 1 trillion monsters;
- Butcher claimed 37 million lives;
- 2.4 million players lost the fight on Hardcore;
- Sorcerer and Necromancer are the most popular classes. Magic rules!
At the moment, the game is wrapping up the holiday Midwinter Blight event. The game’s Season of Blood is also slowly coming to the end ad will give way to the new Season in late January. What will be its theme and additions? Stay tuned to find out what’s next once the team is ready to share.
The developers of Diablo 4 have been on hand during the BlizzCon 2023. During the opening ceremony, the team revealed Vessel of Hatred, the first expansion. It will be coming in late 2024. It will continue the dark tale of Diablo 4, explore the fate of Mephisto, and introduce a new region. More info will come this summer, so stay tuned!
