Disney Dreamlight Valley Welcomes Scar

Disney Dreamlight Valley Scar Update

Disney and Gameloft have announced that a massive new update has been deployed for Disney Dreamlight Valley. Anchoring the new content is the arrival of the Lion King’s Scar as a new villain for the valley. Scar’s Valley is the first free content update for the game. Founder’s Pack owners will also find a new Star Path season with all sorts of cosmetic goodies to unlock.

“From the start, we’ve promised our players regular content updates as part of Early Access and beyond. We couldn’t be happier to deliver on that with our first update,” said Nicholas Mainville, Game Director for Disney Dreamlight Valley. “Bringing Scar into the ongoing story and giving players a chance to embrace their ‘bad’ sides should be welcoming to even the most heroic of fans, and we can’t wait for players to hop in.”

In Scar’s Kingdom, the Sunlit Plateau is in danger. The “Pillar of Nurturing” has dried up and is blocked by dark magic. Budding villains will work alongside Scar in order to bring the Plateau back to life.  Players will aid Scar in restoring the Pillar of Nurturing by traveling into the Plateau’s mines to discover the source of the problem. Players will, of course, also be treated to Scar’s less-than-honest motivations.

Founders Pack Owners will find the new Star Path packed with all things Halloween and Disney Villain. Gamers can unlock cosmetic items inspired by Alice in Wonderland, Hercules, Sleeping Beauty, Snow White, and more. Players will have to befriend iconic villains. In addition, they’ll need to remove Night Thorns from their territory, and “spend time skulking around the Valley.” Players will be able to unlock exclusive outfits, accessories, furniture items, and more.
