Disney Games and Dlala Studios have announced that Disney Illusion Island is now available for Nintendo Switch. Up to four players can participate in local 2D action-platforming adventures in the game developed exclusively for Switch. Players can purchase a copy of the game for $39.99. It is currently available on the Nintendo eShop.
Developers want to entice fans with its whimsical style. The team released a new trailer to show off that and many of the game’s features.
Four beloved Disney characters are present in the game: Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, and Goofy. Players journey through the island of Monoth, where they explore beautiful locations while looking for three magical Tomes. These books protect the island, and it’s up to Mickey and friends to bring them back. The game features hand-drawn animation, and an original fully orchestrated OST by Ivor Novello and BAFTA-nominated composer Dave Housden.
