Dragonball Fighterz Transforms With a Ton of Updates

Today it is time to get you fighting gloves on because Bandai Namco’s Dragon Ball FighterZ is about to find a brand new form. The latest update, and probably the biggest patch since its release,  includes a ton of bug fixes, a brand new tournament, and a brand new game mode.

For fans of Goku and company, Dragon Ball FighterZ is an over the top 2.5D fighter that mixes outrageous aesthetics and ridiculous moves to captures the very essence of this anime classic. Now the roster of over 20 characters is getting far more than a simple lick of paint in the latest drop. Alongside the usual mechanical tweaking, the 9 May update introduces the FighterZ Cup to players. Teams of player, or Z-Unions, can battle to collect points in a monthly tournament that promises to bring a fresh twist on current competitions.

In addition to the FighterZ Cup, another new mode is also included. A 3 player, cooperative Party Battle allows friends to team up and take on some fearsome bosses, according to a Bandai Namco. For a full list of all the changes, check out the patch notes on the Bandai Namco facebook page, and get ready to fight.
