Dragon’s Dogma 2 arrives March 22nd, bringing a single-player narrative-driven adventure set in a fantasy world. Choose your own experience, from the appearance of your Arisen, to their vocations, their party, how to approach different situations and more. To bring players up to speed, the developers from Capcom have shared a few gameplay overviews and video spotlights. Previously, Dragon’s Dogma 2 received two short trailers that introduce the players to the world & narrative as well as the Vocation and the Pawn system.
Additionally, the devs rolled out separate trailers dedicated to each available Vocation: Fighter, Thief & Archer, Warrior, Mage and Sorcerer as well as Mystic Spearhand and Magick Archer. Now it’s time for the last (but not the least!) couple of Vocations to receive their own spotlight: Trickster and Warfarer.
A vocation exclusive to the Arisen, the Trickster can conjure illusions through the smoke created by its unique weapon, the Censer. Tricksters can use illusions to deceive enemies into fighting against their own. They also have the ability to temporarily increase the power of Pawns beyond their limits.
The Warfarer is a new vocation exclusive to the Arisen that can use every weapon, and learn different skills from each vocation. By using diverse weapons, the Warfarer can respond to any situation and create combos that cross vocational boundaries. The Warfarer’s lower base stats require them to utilize the situational strengths of different weapon types to be on par with other vocations with specialized strengths.
