Prepare to jump in try out Brown dust 2 in January 2023, as Neowiz announces an Early Access Test for the upcoming RPG.

Neowiz hasn’t long confirmed tat a Brown Dust 2 is coming to mobile devices, and now players can get a sample of the second in this franchise. Mobile and indie game publisher Neowiz has detailed plans for a play test session between 10-17 January 2023 for mobile gamer. The upcoming hands on opportunity will unlock the chance to try out several characters and events across the game, and get a glimpse of what might end up going live at the full launch. Players participating and completing a post-test survey will automatically be entered into a special Brown Dust 2 raffle to win one of 20 Google Play gift cards or Apple gift cards.

While free loot is always a boon, we’re more intrigued by the opportunity to try out this sequel. Neowiz are set to reveal the first look at a new high def 2D take on a nostalgic genre. Rather than the traditional 2D side scrolling tactical RPG that is rife in the mobile marketplace, the follow on from Brown Dust is more of an isometric adventure. The stylized throwback takes clear inspiration from the sprite inspired classics of yesteryear. As if to lean further into the tale, this mix of different narrative genres is split into different quests, each contained within their own cartridge.

 

The journey through time and space also got an all-new trailer that introduces fans to the Brown Dust 2 voice cast. Names including Jung Hye-won, Kim Young-sun, Chase Kyeol, and Yeo Min-jeong. Are showcased, and we get another chance to see what’s coming in the January first look.

Anybody looking to get an idea of what exactly they are in for is best to check out the initial announcement, while potential Android play testers can head over to the official Brown Dust 2 website to sign up and try out Brown Dust 2. Apple device owners will have to wait until the full release later in 2023.
