Publisher Modus Games and developer Reply Game Studios continue sharing more information about the upcoming aRPG Soulstice, making its way to PC, Xbox Series X|S and PS5 in Fall. This time the devs let players feast their eyes on a new portion of gameplay, showing off one Sir Donovan and his deadly sword skills.
According to the team, “Donovan, the Shadeless, is considered one of the strongest Chimeras alive. Using only his skill and strength, Donovan can slice his opponents clean in half with a single swing. Observing such a legend battling up close is a lucky sight…unless you’re on the wrong end of the blade.”
In the world of Soulstice, wraiths threaten the balance of the Holy Kingdom of Keidas, and only the hybrid warriors born of the union of two souls (also known as Chimeras) can stop them and protect the humankind. Briar and Lute are two sisters who have been reborn as a Chimera. The transformation has granted Briar superhuman strength and resilience, while Lute, who was sacrificed in order to bind her soul to her sister’s, has become a ghost – a Shade – with mystical powers.
While Briar and Lute are fighting together, sir Donovan does not use his Shade in battle, relying on his skill alone.
