You might have missed the Marvelous Showcase last night, but don’t worry. You can still catch up with all the cute and incredible titles coming from the publisher behind Story of Seasons. The showcase last night follows the increasing trend of direct to consumer broadcasts, giving us all a look at what’s coming throughout the year, and Marvelous look like they’re going to have a pretty good one. Marvelous Inc. President and CEO Suminobu Sato hosted development team members throughout the stream, providing details on new Story of Seasons and Rune Factory titles. There was also a first look at some original adventures too.

Story of Seasons

A long running and utterly adorable slice of life turned farming sim, Story of Seasons is back with a new adventure. Following on from Olive Town, this entry focuses on a central theme of “Experiences”, Series Manager Hikaru Nakano revealed the first footage of the next title in the original farm/life simulation series, highlighting a fresh look after 27 years of farming and friendship. Nakano-san also shared exciting news and the first concept images for a separate, future entry in development, which is planned to bring Story of Seasons fans together with an ambitious new title where you can play with everyone!

Rune Factory

Another one of the long standing Marvelous family got a reveal last night. The newest spin off in the Rune Factory series was presented by Director Shiro Maekawa. They joined Sato-san to reveal the first footage of “PROJECT DRAGON”. Building upon the central theme of “East and West”, “PROJECT DRAGON” is set in the “Land of the East,” which has long been referenced but never shown in the series, where Earthmates will explore new lands and communities with Japanese-styled design influences. Additionally, Maekawa-san confirmed that Rune Factory 6 is also in development and will take place in the western continent of Adonea, with both upcoming titles representing the East and West

Fashion Dreamer

In a very different twist, anybody looking to give up the good life for high fashion in the urban jungle might want to take a peek at Fashion Dreamer. syn Sophia President and CEO Shuji Yoshida joined Sato-san to share a new look at the upcoming fashion influencer game debuting on the Nintendo Switch™ system this year. In addition to showing off some new fashions, Yoshida-san revealed early details on the social elements that will be central to the game’s experience. Built around the theme of “Sharing and Playing Together”, Fashion Dreamer focuses on creativity and connectivity, driving positive social interactions with an eye towards free expression.

Project Magia and Project Life is RPG

Being something of a chance to present early-stage projects, two new ideas took to the stage too. Project Magia and Project Life is RPG both got a look at the designs behind these early stage developments, a sneak peek at the ideas behind them and input from Project Life’s Director Ittetsu Suzuk and Magia’s Takehiro Ishida.

Deamon x Machina: Titanic Scion
