Rocket League turns 7 this year and the automotive esport is set to celebrate 7 years of action with a huge Birthday Ball, kicking off on 6 July.
Psyonix, the team behind Rocket League, has announced an upcoming Birthday Ball event in Rocket League. Starting on 6 July, the day before this big date, the in game activities will include challenges, rewards, Limited Time Modes, anniversary themed items, and Golden Eggs for players.
Between 6-19 July you’ll be able to grab the wheel and get into two new Limited Time Modes, a couple of extra game modes that will allow player to test their skills. A 2v2 Heatseeker will be available from 6 – 13 July and Knockout will be available from 13 – 19 July.
Plenty of new anniversary themed items will be up for grabs, including The Fennec (Titanium White) Car, Fancy Formal Decal (Fennec), Spyder: Anniversary Edition Wheels, and a spiffing gold Top Hat: Anniversary Edition Topper.
Finally, in a first for Rocket League, players playing during the birthday period will be able to complete various Event Challenges to unlock up to 300 Credits as rewards. In addition to these Credits, the Golden Goat Title, Precious Metal Avatar Border, and Golden Eggs. Golden Eggs will unlock items from Champions Series 1-4.
