Developer HoYoverse shared the ending cutscene animation from Nahida’s second Story Quest “Homecoming” that was unlocked in Genshin Impact Version 3.6: A Parade of Providence. If you care for spoilers and have not finished the quest yet, you might want to skip it until your own playthrough. Otherwise – dig right in, it’s cryin’ time!
“Why are we born? What do we love? Why can’t we let go?”
The answers to life reveal themselves one after another, only for us to discover that we have spent eons treading on the “wrong” path. Humans know not of our genesis and destruction, and only emotions and memories are testament to our “growth.” But till this day, we all firmly believe that every moment of our existence holds a purpose. For this is our home: It will tell us that there is no right or wrong in life, and it will tell us “welcome home.”
Finishing Nahida’s second Story Quest Sapientia Orosmadis Chapter: Act II – Homecoming allows players to unlock the new Domain “The Realm of Beginnings”, containing the latest Genshin Impact weekly boss, the Guardian of Apep’s Oasis. Defeating the enemy in the Domain will give you the new Character Level-Up Materials.
This Dendro creature has three separate phases to its boss fight:
- The beginning of the battle will see Travelers and their companions enter a direct fight against the Guardian.
- Once the first direct phase of the battle is over, the second Revitalizing Phase begins. During it, you will have to fight against waves of monsters to protect the Heart of Oasis. When the Heart gets attacked, the revitalization progress decreases while defeating attackers pushes it onward.
- Once the Revitalization process is complete, the final phase of the battle begins. During it, the Guardian will unleash powerful AoE Dendro attacks. Thankfully, Travelers can use the Shields of Revival’s Hymn to withstand this damage.
