Gameloft and Disney have announced that the massive “Missions in Uncharted Space” update has been deployed into Disney Dreamlight Valley. Players can now explore the all-new Toy Story Realm, where they’ll meet up with Buzz and Woody. In addition, the newest Star Path season has started, and the game has entered early access for Mac users. Interested Mac users can purchase a Founder’s Pack to gain instant access to DDV.
Developers have provided a peek into Missions in Uncharted Space. When players enter the Toy Story Realm, they will shrink down to “toy-size” and meet up with Buzz and Woody. Woody is looking for assistance to learn the magic of childhood memories, while Buzz wants to establish his first Star Command outpost. Both storylines offer players tons of great quests and items to unlock.
The new Star Path is themed around wintry holidays and is packed with new and exclusive items “to help you get cozy and warm.” Players can unlock new clothing, furniture, and accessories. In addition, the new Dream Styles feature offers players special holiday skins for Mickey and Merlin. Players will also get to build a snowman, explore Frosted Heights, and discover all-new festive recipes.
“In Scar’s Kingdom, we loved seeing our players embrace their villainous side! Now, we can’t wait for them to get toy-sized and explore the dream world of the Toy Story Realm,” said Manea Castet, Lead Producer at Gameloft Montreal. “Not to mention, players will definitely have some ‘fluffy‘ surprises to unbox this holiday season, including a potential new resident from beyond the stars, this Star Path season’s Festive Fox, and a new cozy and warm wardrobe option the community has been hoping for!”
The update is live in all versions of the game: PlayStation, Xbox, and PC. It is also available for early access versions of the game on Nintendo Switch and MacOS.
