God of War: Ragnarök – It’s Time to Recall the Myths of Midgard

While it might be 3 months till the release of the latest installment in the God of War action RPG series, it is never too late to recall the myths of Midgard and the adventures of godslayer Kratos and his son Atreus. Join the amazing Felicia Day and the Smartest Man Alive, Mimir, to catch up on the previous game.

In God of War, we see Kratos putting his vengeance against the Gods of Olympus behind him and living in the realm of Norse deities and monsters. But he is not only a killing machine but also a father to a young lad named Atreus, determined to earn the respect of this father. Kratos will have to deal with and control the rage that has long defined him while out in a very dangerous world with his son.

It’s in this harsh, unforgiving world that he must fight to survive, and not only teach his son to do the same… but also prevent him from repeating the Ghost of Sparta’s bloodstained mistakes.

God of War: Ragnarök serves as the sequel 2018’s God of War, taking place three years after the journey of Atreus and Kratos. Fembulwinter, the apocalyptic great winter spanning three years, is well underway which means the arrival of Ragnarök – the upcoming demise of the Norse gods and the world alike.

Kratos and Atreus must journey to each of the Nine Realms in search of answers as Asgardian forces prepare for a prophesied battle that will end the world. Along the way they will explore stunning, mythical landscapes, and face fearsome enemies in the form of Norse gods and monsters. The threat of Ragnarök grows ever closer. Kratos and Atreus must choose between their own safety and the safety of the realms.
