In God of War, we see Kratos putting his vengeance against the Gods of Olympus behind him and living in the realm of Norse deities and monsters. But he is not only a killing machine but also a father to a young lad named Atreus, determined to earn the respect of this father. Kratos will have to deal with and control the rage that has long defined him while out in a very dangerous world with his son.

Kratos and Atreus must journey to each of the Nine Realms in search of answers as Asgardian forces prepare for a prophesied battle that will end the world. Along the way they will explore stunning, mythical landscapes, and face fearsome enemies in the form of Norse gods and monsters. The threat of Ragnarök grows ever closer.
