Gorgeous Vice City Shines in First-ever Grand Theft Auto VI Trailer

Rockstar has once again proven to be a leaky ship, and the new Grand Theft Auto VI trailer has leaked into the wild. Abandoning all its carefully-laid plans, Rockstar released the trailer twelve hours early. But whether official or unofficial, let’s just say, “Boy, was it worth the wait!”

The trailer showcases a breathtaking Vice City in graphics that are about as close to real as possible. Judging by the trailer, the game will feature ultra-realistic graphics, new stories, a female protagonist, and more. The one thing missing, however, is a release date more specific than “coming 2025”. Rockstar is still holding that one close to the vest.

Twerking on top of a limo? Check. Gators in swimming pools and convenience stores? Check. Mankinis? Check. Dual-wielding hammer grannies? Check. There’s all that and much more. Let’s take a look, shall we?

The game is considered a direct sequel to 2013’s GTAV and takes place in Vice City, a fictionalized version of Miami that first appeared in 2006. There really aren’t many more details such as the protagonist’s name, overarching storyline, new and updated gameplay features, etc. Still, the trailer has been a looooooooong time coming with still another year plus to wait.

Rockstar founder Sam Houser said, “Grand Theft Auto VI continues our efforts to push the limits of what’s possible in highly immersive, story-driven open-world experiences,. “We’re thrilled to be able to share this new vision with players everywhere.”
