Developer Blizzard Entertainment shared a new blog post on the official site of CCG Hearhstone. In it, the team revealed that the Duels Mode is coming to an end. This change will allow the developers to shit the resources to where they feel they are most needed.
“As we think about the future of Hearthstone and where the team can best focus their efforts, we’ve made the difficult decision to discontinue support for the Duels Mode. We do not have plans for any further scheduled updates for Duels, and the Mode itself is scheduled to be removed from the Hearthstone client in April 2024.”
The blog post also revealed that Battlegounds Duos mode is scheduled for an upcoming Battlegrounds patch. With the team combat, shared health pool, and sending cards back and forth to each other, it’s the ultimate co-op experience of Hearthstone.
