Hot Wheels Unleashed 2: Turbocharged Adds an All-New Single-Player Campaign

Mattel and Milestone have released new information about game modes coming when Hot Wheels 2: Turbocharged launches on October 19th. Fans will be thrilled to hear that five new game modes are coming alongside some of the beloved modes from the first game. Most notably, today’s information update includes a first look at the single-player campaign for mini-racers around the world.

Developers are excited to show off their hard work in a new trailer that spotlights these new game modes.

New game modes

  • Elimination: Players must rely on survival instincts and stay on their proverbial toes. Every few seconds, the slowest vehicle in the race will be eliminated until only one remains. Players must drive carefully and decide when it’s best to sit back, jet forward, or use turbo.
  • Drift Master Mode: Players must maintain precision and style to rack up points and dominate the track.
  • Waypoint Mode: This lets players explore the map and uncover all its secrets. They can drive off the iconic orange track for free-roaming action. Creativity and curiosity are crucial to discovering pathways to waypoints.
  • Grab the Gears Mode: Players will head off track and participate in online battles to collect as many Gears as possible within an open area. Strategy, skill, and frenzied action are key to the fun.
  • Clash Derby Mode: This is the ultimate online duel for Monster Trucks only. Players smash into one another to become the king of the track.
