Animal Crossing players love their in-game events and the latest one is something special that shakes up the norma bit. Festival has made its way into the game with Pave visiting everyone’s island along with a distinctive Mardi Gras feel.
During Festival, players will see fanciful, brightly-colored feathers floating around the air. Players can catch feathers with a net and, once enough are secured, can then craft a number of beautiful items. In addition, feathers can be traded to Pave to “buy” themed furniture and items.
Goodness! The plaza is simply buzzing with energy today, isn’t it? That’s the spirit of Festivale! I know Pavé will be dancing all day… Will you join in and show off your moves? pic.twitter.com/YF13bYCZCB

Looking ahead, AC players can look forward to Mario-themed items making their way to the game in March followed by Bunny Day in April. Nintendo may also be planning a Zelda-themed event in celebration of its 35th anniversary but they are playing coy and keeping any news about such an event a secret.
