Over 3 million monarchs have experienced the enigmatic world of Kingdom in the original game since its release in 2015. And now the sequel to this wondrous Microstrategy is coming to consoles and PC very soon – the developers have revealed the release date to their fans! Kingdom Two Crowns: Shogun will release worldwide on December 11th for PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch.
The next iteration in the successful microstrategy franchise, Kingdom Two Crowns will allow players to venture to exotic biomes across the world through expandable content. On day 1 of release, players can journey to lands inspired by the landscape, architecture, and culture of feudal Japan. Play as the mighty Shogun or Onna-bugeisha, enlist the support of the ninja, lead your soldiers to battle atop the mythological Kirin, and form new strategies as you brave the Greed hiding in the thick bamboo forests.
Kingdom Two Crowns will come with new unique campaign settings to explore. At launch, the game will feature a gorgeous Japan-inspired setting with its own set of NPCs, strategies and mysteries.
Post-launch, additional settings will be added to the game, bringing new environments, different items and characters.
Kingdom Two Crowns will feature couch co-op on all platforms and online co-op for most platforms at launch (we’re exploring online for Switch at the moment). For Xbox specifically, Kingdom Two Crowns will be a part of Game Pass in December.
