REZ PLZ Launches on PC and Console

Players looking for a co-op platformer that centers on the sacrifice and resurrection of companions in order to be successful will be pleased to hear that their niche is covered in REZ PLZ. The game has officially launched for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam.

The game partners players with two wizard brothers, Arcan and Zeph. Their job is to take on the forces of Dark Arcanum with only a Resurrection Scroll and their wits to do so. Players will need to complete platforming challenges and solve puzzles while also battling monsters and circumventing traps. The twist is that someone will have to die to be successful, hence the importance of the resurrection scroll. Players will face gruesome deaths such as being sliced in half, eaten by creatures, burned alive, “and more”. Sounds fun…

Features include:

  • Co-op Play – the game puts a unique spin on the traditional co-op concept. Instead of trying to keep each player alive through each level, players must strategically kill one of the brothers to solve puzzles and defeat enemies. Use the Resurrection Scroll to bring Arcan and Zeph back to life.
  • Death Around Every Corner – Death is everywhere and can come from a multitude of one-hit deaths, ranging from being sliced in half, eaten by creatures, burned alive, and more. Death is part of the adventure!
  • Unlock Magical Spells – Unlock new spells to conquer the increasingly difficult challenges ahead, but be careful because these brothers are poor at magic and one bad spell can mean death!
  • Unlockables – Explore and find a bevy of unlockable cosmetic items and unlockable challenging gauntlet levels to customize your gameplay.
